Inside the Phygitech AR and VR Content Library, and What Educators Say About It

A VR headset with nothing useful to show is an expensive toy. Schools find this out in the second month, once the excitement fades and a teacher needs something for Thursday's lesson on the human heart.

That is why we have always treated content as the real product. The devices deliver it. The content is what students remember.

What is in the library

The library is built for K-12 and covers the subjects where seeing makes the biggest difference: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Social Science and more.

It comes in several forms, because not every lesson needs the same thing:

  • VR modules that place the student inside the topic
  • AR content that puts a 3D model on the student's own desk
  • 3D models the class can turn, zoom and explore together
  • 360° videos for places a school trip cannot reach
  • 2D animated lessons for whole-class teaching
  • WebXR content that opens straight from the Learning Management System

The content is multilingual, so a school can teach in the language its students think in.

Mapped to what you already teach

A teacher should not have to hunt for something loosely related to the chapter. The content is mapped to the curriculum for CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE and state boards, so the lesson a teacher needs is where they expect it to be.

In the Learning Management System, teachers can also create their own lessons, schedule them for a particular day and assign them to students.

Who makes it

Everything is produced by our own team: instructional designers, 3D modellers, graphic designers, programmers, quality analysts, subject matter experts, translators and voice-over artists. It takes all of them to turn a chapter into something a student can step inside.

What educators say

We could describe the library all day. It is more useful to hear from someone who has used it.

From the Principal of Sri Dashmesh Academy, Punjab:

Being a teacher of Maths, Physically explaining things is many times difficult, but with VR it is easy to explain the things practically.

From the Principal of Ridge Valley School, Gurugram:

AR and VR technology fosters better understanding of STEM concepts, increases memory recall and is an excellent tool for our specially-abled children.

And from a Grade 11 student at GGSS School, Jaipur, who perhaps said it best:

I liked seeing human heart. I would like to learn through VR.

See it with your own subject

The fairest test of a content library is to pick a chapter you find difficult to teach and look for it. Book a demo, tell us the class and the topic, and we will show you what we have.
